Stoppers from the canopic chest
The Canopic Chest for King Tut's internal organs was made from a large block
of carfully veined and transparent calcite, with four compartments, each of them
sealed by a stopper (similar to the two above) that was carved to represent the king. Each of the four compartments held a miniature coffin holding the organs.
